The Most Overlooked Underdog

If you search the internet today, you'll come across thousands of upcoming artists trying to find their way to the top. Most of this upcoming artists just make some basic generic sounding music; but I've recently come across a couple of great talents. One of the talents that stands out for me is multi-talented artist, Tony Slay. The Kenyan born and Germany based rapper, singer, songwriter, producer and cinematographer, is a master at what he does. Listening to his music, you'll appreciate his diversity and flexibility. One of the few new generation rappers who doesn't curse in his music (apart from 1 song with one curse word). He doesn't portray women as objects in his music like most of the rappers do and his lyricism is way top notch. At the age of 21, the maturity in his music can be compared to that of some of the biggest names in the business.
The kid put out one of the most powerful albums I've ever listened to and it gained more than 100k streams on spotify within the first three days. The poetry in his Album is on a whole new level. Jaw-dropping metaphors and punchlines after punchline. His wordplay skill is one thing that has impressed me more than anything else.
